Years ago when I was at school, I did a comparative analysis of John F. Kennedy (President of the United States ’61-’63) and Rajiv Ratna Gandhi (Prime Minister of India ’84-’89) for a History assessment. It was one of the most favourite assignments I ever did, I loved researching the lives of both men. Why is JFK still relevant fifty years after he died? I think because we human beings like our heroes and like Rajiv he was killed so young (they were the same age at forty six), still in office, full of so much promise… the idea of them lives on…
